The X5 tent is constructed with 25mm aluminum internal covered tent poles (compared to standard tent poles at 16 mm), stainless-steel reinforced hinges, and all stainless steel hardware. The base of the tent is constructed with honeycomb aluminum, covered with a 1mm coated aluminum diamond plate. The tent body is made of 320 gsm ripstop polycotton PU-coated canvas, with a mold and mildew-resistant rainfly made from 420D Polyester Oxford ripstop fabric with waterproof PVC coating—all canvas is seamed and PU coated for waterproofing and UV protection. The exterior travel cover is made from 650D Waterproof PVC-coated fabric. While the tent is open, the cover can be fastened out of the way with Velcro straps, leaving your vehicle doors accessible. This tent features SBS zippers on the tent body and windows; the most used zippers have to pull rope ends.
The tent's interior features four internal storage pockets for camping accessories and two large shoe bags. It also has a base-mounted tent pole storage pocket and a heavy-duty cargo net underneath the base for extra storage space when set up. An upgraded 2.5-inch ultrahigh-density open-cell mattress will keep you comfortable throughout the night. The new removable mattress cover is made of soft polycotton on top and 420D oxford ripstop waterproof fabric on the bottom. This eliminates the need for an anti-condensation mat.
